SOCKI.IE — Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 3 July 2026
Welcome to SOCKI.IE. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") set out the rules for buying products from our website. By placing an order you agree to these Terms, so please read them carefully before purchasing.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under Irish and EU law.
1. Who we are
SOCKI.IE is operated by Socki, an Irish sole trader based at Mullaghroe, Boyle, Co. Roscommon, F52 FK20, Ireland.
- Email: orders@socki.ie
- Phone: +353 89 982 0322
- Website: https://www.socki.ie
We sell socks, wellness and aromatherapy products, candles, gifts and homewares. All items are subject to availability.
2. Ordering & order acceptance
- Once you place an order you will receive an automatic order confirmation email. This confirmation is not acceptance of your order — a contract between us is formed only when we dispatch your goods.
- We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order (for example, in the event of a pricing error, a stock issue, or suspected fraud). If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund you in full.
3. Pricing & payment
- Our currency is Euro (€). All prices include Irish VAT where applicable.
- We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as PayPal and Klarna. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers, and we do not store your full card details.
- How the charge appears on your statement: Payments may show on your bank or card statement as "IAB – IT Developments" (or a similar reference including iambaldish.com). This is the registered trading entity that processes payments for SOCKI.IE — if you see it on your statement, it relates to your SOCKI.IE order. If you don't recognise a charge, please contact us at orders@socki.ie before contacting your bank.
- Klarna: If you choose Klarna (e.g. Pay Later or Pay in 3), your credit or payment agreement is directly with Klarna and is subject to Klarna's own terms and privacy notice. Klarna options are subject to eligibility, status and a minimum age of 18. Missed payments may affect your ability to use Klarna in future.
- Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise stated as part of a promotion.
Browsing from Northern Ireland (£): For convenience, prices may be displayed in Pounds Sterling (£) when you browse from Northern Ireland. This is an indicative figure only — your payment is taken in Euro (€), and the exchange rate and any conversion fee are set by your own bank or card provider, not by us. We do not add a currency surcharge.
4. Shipping & delivery
We ship to the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland via tracked services, with free standard shipping on orders over €24.99 (standard SOCKI.IE items). Shipping is calculated and applied automatically at checkout.
Full details — including rates, processing and delivery times, and separate arrangements for our Seasonal Gifting department — are set out in our Shipping Policy.
5. Returns, refunds & cancellation
Your rights to return items, and our voluntary 28-day return policy, are set out in full in our Refund Policy. In summary:
- You have a 28-day window to request a return of unworn, unused items in their original packaging and with tags.
- If your order is being delivered within the EU, you also have a statutory 14-day cooling-off right to cancel for any reason (see the Refund Policy for details).
- Please do not return anything until your return has been authorised by us.
6. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
Please inspect your order on arrival and contact us as soon as possible (ideally within 48 hours) at orders@socki.ie if an item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, so we can put it right. We may ask for a photo before approving a replacement or refund, and we cover return postage for faulty or incorrect items. This does not affect your statutory rights, which may allow a longer period to report a fault.
7. Promotions & discounts
Promotional codes and discounts cannot be applied retroactively to previous orders. Offers are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time without notice.
8. Your consumer rights & our liability
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 and other applicable law, the goods we supply must be of satisfactory quality, fit for their intended purpose, and as described. Nothing in these Terms removes or limits those rights.
Subject to and without affecting your statutory rights, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, SOCKI.IE is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays, losses or damage caused by postal or courier services. Product descriptions and images are accurate to the best of our ability, though slight variations may occur. We are not liable for allergic reactions or sensitivities, so please review product details carefully before purchasing.
9. Privacy & data protection
We comply with GDPR and the Irish Data Protection Acts. Please see our Privacy Policy for details of how we collect, store and use your personal information.
10. Complaints & dispute resolution
If something goes wrong, please contact us first at orders@socki.ie — most issues are resolved quickly and directly. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, Irish consumers can seek information and assistance from the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) at www.ccpc.ie.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, you also keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
For any questions about these Terms & Conditions, contact us at orders@socki.ie.
Thank you for shopping with SOCKI.IE!
